About A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League

A Girl & A Gun (AG & AG) is a nationwide women’s firearms training and shooting organization created by women shooters, for women shooters. The league focuses on handgun, rifle, and shotgun training, with a strong emphasis on firearms safety, skill development, and responsible gun ownership.

Unlike traditional gun clubs, A Girl & A Gun offers a supportive, judgment-free environment where women can learn at their own pace. Through structured instruction and community-based events, the league helps women build confidence while developing real-world shooting skills. Today, A Girl & A Gun has active chapters across the United States and continues to grow as more women seek professional firearms training.

Charleston Chapter Hosted at Bullseye Bill’s Guns & Ammo

The Charleston Chapter of A Girl & A Gun, organized by Adina Hamilton, is proudly based at Bullseye Bill’s Guns & Ammo in Summerville, SC. This partnership makes our location a central hub for women’s firearms training in the Charleston and Lowcountry area.

The chapter welcomes women of all ages and skill levels, including first-time shooters, intermediate shooters, and experienced firearms owners. Monthly events are designed to combine education, live-fire practice, and community building in a safe gun range environment.

Typical events include:

• Girl’s Night Out at the gun range

• Breakfast & Bullets firearms practice sessions

• Trigger Time live-fire training

• Firearms safety and skills education

• Social and community events, including book clubs and virtual meetups
